Nehorázná cenzura na Facebooku

Časové rozpětí rovněž zůstává na nepochopitelném posouzení zřejmě jiného otravného softwaru, ale co je největší problém, je fakt, že možnost obrany je fakticky nulová. Samozřejmě můžete podat stížnost, ale jen zřídka se stane, že k nějakému relevantnímu přezkumu rozhodnutí dojde.

Facebook se plíživě ale jistě dostal do pozice drába či policajta sociálního prostoru, který je schopen smáznout například loket, který někomu připadá jako obnažené prso. Facebook ovládla nepokrytá cenzura.

Dokud se omezení týkala politiky nebo různých kontroverzních témat či jakési korektnosti, bylo možné přimhouřit oko. Nicméně cenzura začíná pronikat i do kultury, filmu a hudby. Fanoušci rockové hudby například už delší dobu kroutí hlavou nad tím, jaké riziko přináší do statusu napsat název alba kapely Metallica - Kill them All.

Po dvou letech spatřilo minulý pátek světlo světa nové album s názvem DMoon. Ty poslední dva roky nebyly snadné, protože kapela musela čelit za své postoje nenávisti, a to dokonce i před vypuknutím válečného konfliktu. Došlo k rušení koncertů dokonce italský promotér bezostyšně obral hudebníky o peníze, které si za organizaci koncertu nechal vyplatit a tyto se pak neuskutečnily. A následovaly nechutné útoky, podobné těm, které známe z různých diskusí či demonstrací. A to bylo vše ještě před říjnem 2023.

Co se stalo poté se jen těžce popisuje pro každého, koho se ty události dotkly. Tedy i mně. Kapela se dostala do stavu, kdy proběhlé hrůzy nedovolovaly ani koncertovat, ani systematicky pracovat na nové hudbě. Jak šel čas, tak příprava nového alba se rozběhla, ale nastal další problém. Všechna vydavatelství se od Arallu odvrátila. To, že jsou z Izraele, se ukázalo jako stigma. Muzikanti se nikdy netajili svým postojem a názorem na válku. Jasně deklarovali, že bránit zemi před barbarskými hordami je nejen právo, ale i povinnost. A že to, co se dělo v Gaze není žádná Genocida, ale odpověď na válečný útok ze strany Hamasu. Je to tak prosté. A tento svůj postoj dodala pochopitelně i do nových skladeb.

Když se konečně podařilo album nahrát a překonat problémy s nalezením vydavatele, dochází problém s propagací. Facebook zablokoval profil zpěváka a leadera kapely Genie Kinga a omezil profil Arallu jako takový. Je to bezprecedentní nehorázný útok na svobodu, na hudbu, na slušnost. Nedošlo k tomu proto, že by kapela propagovala něco zvrhlého nebo nemorálního. Došlo k tomu proto, že Arallu jsou z Izraele a že nehodlají ustupovat mezinárodnímu bujícímu antisemitismu. Že jsou hrdí patrioti a stojí za svou zemí, za svým národem.

Přestože Facebook nechutným způsobem poškodil skupinu, album je venku, prodává se a mohu li už nyní napsat svůj názor, aspiruje na album desetiletí v daném žánru, pochopitelně. Přestože mi schází muzikanti, co odešli před obměnou, musím uznat, že oživení zvuku je cítit.

Tohle ale není recenze. Na tu se teprve chystám. Je to jen upozornění, že hudba by měla spojovat a přinášet poznání a neměla by být cenzurována proto, že tvůrci jsou například z Izraele. Anebo z Ruska, jako to před časem zažívala skupina Arkona.

Já jen doufám, že se situace stabilizuje a příští rok uvidí fanoušci metalu Arallu v České republice.

Most of us who have entrusted our computers or mobile phones to Facebook have already encountered the fact that some annoying software decided that your status was not what the public should see, and so a warning or even a ban came.

The time frame also remains incomprehensible to the assessment of apparently other annoying software, but what is the biggest problem is the fact that the possibility of defense is practically zero. Of course, you can file a complaint, but it rarely happens that any relevant review of the decision occurs.

Facebook has crept but surely got into the position of a swindler or policeman of social space, capable of, for example, removing an elbow that someone thinks is a naked breast. Facebook has been dominated by uncovered censorship.

As long as the restrictions concerned politics or various controversial topics or some kind of correctness, it was possible to turn a blind eye. However, censorship is also starting to penetrate culture, film and music. For example, rock music fans have been scratching their heads for a long time about the risks of writing the title of Metallica's album - Kill them All - in their status.

After two years, a new album called DMoon was released last Friday. The last two years have not been easy, because the band had to face hatred for their positions, even before the outbreak of the war. Concerts were canceled, and an Italian promoter even shamelessly robbed musicians of the money he had been paid to organize the concert, which then did not take place. And disgusting attacks followed, similar to those we know from various discussions or demonstrations. And that was all before October 2023.

What happened next is difficult to describe for anyone who was affected by those events. Including me. The band reached a point where the horrors that had occurred did not allow them to perform or work systematically on new music. As time went on, the preparation of the new album got underway, but another problem arose. All the labels turned away from Aralla. The fact that they were from Israel turned out to be a stigma. The musicians never hid their position and opinion on the war. They clearly declared that defending the country from the barbarian hordes was not only a right, but also an obligation. And that what was happening in Gaza was not a genocide, but a response to a war attack by Hamas. It's that simple. And of course, they added this position to their new songs.

When they finally managed to record the album and overcome the problems with finding a publisher, there was a problem with promotion. Facebook blocked the profile of the singer and band leader Genie King and restricted Arallu's profile as such. This is an unprecedented, blatant attack on freedom, on music, on decency. This did not happen because the band was promoting something depraved or immoral. This happened because Arallu are from Israel and that they do not intend to give in to the international rampant anti-Semitism. That they are proud patriots and stand behind their country, their nation.

Although Facebook has damaged the group in a disgusting way, the album is out, it is selling and if I may write my opinion now, it aspires to be the album of the decade in the given genre, understandably. Although I miss the musicians who left before the change, I have to admit that the revival of the sound is palpable.

But this is not a review. I am just getting ready for one. It is just a reminder that music should connect and bring knowledge and should not be censored because the creators are, for example, from Israel. Or from Russia, as the band Arkona experienced some time ago.

I just hope that the situation stabilizes and metal fans will see Arallu in the Czech Republic next year.
